Ana Maria Nevin
President

Ana Maria Nevin is the president of Language Translation, Inc., a language service company she started in 1989 as Translation Services.

She is accredited by the American Translators Association as an English to Spanish language translator. Ana Maria provides conference and court interpreting as a State of California Certified Court Interpreter, a Certified Administrative Hearing Interpreter and a Certified Medical Interpreter. Ana Maria's experience led her to being an Official Interpreter at the Olympic Games in Mexico City, Head Contract Translator for Wal-Mart International, and past President of the San Diego Chapter of the California Court Interpreters Association.

Ana Maria holds degrees from the Southern California School of Interpreting in Los Angeles, California and the Translation and Interpretation Education Center in San Diego, California, and has degrees from Alliance Francaise - Paris, France, Universitá di Firenze - Florence, Italy, St. Joseph's College - Toronto, Canada, and Colegio Guadalupe - Mexico City, Mexico.

Harold Nevin
Vice President/General Manager

Harold Nevin is the General Manager of Language Translation, Inc.. Harold's more than 25 years of experience in international business management, sales, and marketing bring an important facet to the LTI team.

Harold's past business experience includes Asian Sales Network, Altos Computer Systems, Fortune Systems, MAI/Basic4, Xerox Computer Services, and The Singer Company. In recent years, he was a vice president with the EMS Group (of London) and TechBridge, Inc. (Japan) establishing sales channels throughout those regions.

Harold's education includes degrees from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and Northwest Nazarene University.

Nev Grove
Director of Marketing

Nev Grove is Language Translation, Inc.'s Director of Marketing. He is also a Founder of 1-for-All Marketing. Nev brings to our company more than 20 years of marketing and product management experience.

During his career, Nev has successfully launched numerous product and service offerings and has held senior technical, product management and marketing positions at leading companies such as IBM, Symantec, Memorex Telex, XTree, and Stac. Nev is a past president of CEMA, the Computer and Electronics Marketing Association (now the High-Tech Marketing Alliance, HTMA) and is a San Diego iMarketers board member.

Nev's education includes degrees from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Adriana Burch
Corporate Sales Manager

Adriana Burch joined Language Translation, Inc. as our Interpreting Services Manager. In this role, she was responsible for managing all events requiring multilingual interpreting services or interpretation equipment rental, and has managed many specialized events.

In 2007, Adriana was selected to manage our Corporate Sales Department. As our Corporate Sales Manager, she is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships as we expand our client base and grow our sales revenue.

Additionally, Adriana has several years of sales and customer service experience in both the fashion and financial industries.

Adriana holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Studies, and is currently working towards obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Family and Marriage Psychology. Adriana is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Thomas Rebotier, PhD
Director of Operations

Thomas Rebotier joined Language Translation, Inc. as Director of Operations, to spearhead our optimization and QA efforts, including our initiatives in computer-aided-translation and machine translation.

Thomas has several years of post-doctoral and project scientist experience in Cognitive Science and Statistics.  Prior to graduate school, he worked as a software engineer.  Winner of the 2004 UCSD data mining contest, he is a seasoned consultant in statistics and data mining.  Thomas has also been a French translator for LTI for over 14 years.  His extensive and relevant academic and translation experience make him the ideal person to lead LTI through its transition to the translation tools of the future.

Thomas received his PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego and holds a degree in Engineering from the prestigious French Ecole des Mines de Paris.

Chris Maroulakos
Senior Project Manager

Chris Maroulakos joined Language Translation, Inc. as a Project Coordinator. He was soon promoted to the position of Project Manager. He currently works as LTI’s Senior Project Manager, overseeing all translation and localization projects, managing translators, and providing support to clients.

Chris was previously employed as a Project Coordinator for Pegasus Solutions, the world's largest third-party travel marketing and reservation provider. He holds certifications in SDL Trados Studio 2009 for Translators (Advanced Level), SDL Trados Studio for Project Managers, and SDL MultiTerm for Project Managers, as well as certifications in Localization and Localization Project Management from California State University Chico, the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), and The Localization Institute.

Chris graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Film and Video, and minors in Italian and International Studies. He spent several months living in Italy as a student of Temple University Rome, and speaks English, Italian, and Spanish.

Mike Nelson
Office Manager

As Office Manager, Mike Nelson brings more than 3 decades of administrative, customer-service and financial management experience to Language Translation, Inc.

While working for several metropolitan San Diego companies, he used technology to create systems to reduce time spent on mundane tasks and to allow people to do more fulfilling work. As a result, the companies were able to see significant reductions in expenses and improvements in profit.

Mike attended the University of Nebraska majoring in education and computer science, and National University, San Diego, majoring in Business Administration. He held a teaching credential in adult education for office skills and bookkeeping.
