Localization is the method of combining language and technology to produce a product that can cross cultural and language barriers.

Today's executive understands the value of the globalization and localization technologynecessary to capture and retain a customer's business.

Customers deserve differentiation . Each one is unique. Honoring and acknowledging this individuality can propel you to the highest levels of business success. Customers the world over are similar, whether they speak Spanish, French, German or Italian. They are customers and consumers. In our global environment adapting to each area's language, customs, cultures and markets is essential.

Language Translation, Inc. specializes in software localization services and website localization services, helping you achieve a global presence. The localization process is quite complex. The actual translation is only a portion of the total work done.

Ten steps to Localization:

  1. Your source materials and web site content are examined by an experienced localization services engineer.
  2. A schedule and budget are developed and agreed upon with the professional project manager assigned to your project.
  3. A terminology glossary is defined, including terms or names not to be translated. This step reduces the cost of your localization service.
  4. Your source materials are then prepared into a language translation kit with the aim of utilizing those materials with any that have already been translated. The translation kit will also be compiled or published to identify problems before translation.
  5. The software or web site is translated utilizing the latest localization and memory tools by a native language team of translators. Depending on the project, testing may be done throughout this stage of the process.
  6. Next the documents are translated by expert documentation specialists.
  7. Engineering and testing of the software or web site are completed. This step could include resizing the user interface, assigning hot-keys and either compiling or publishing the translated text.
  8. Our desktop publishing specialists create screen shots of the new interface for use in help and other documentation.
  9. Any translated text, desktop publishing, and new graphics are incorporated into the final help and documentation.
  10. The product then passes through rigorous quality assurance to final delivery.

A project manager oversees each localization project to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
